What Did You Do With Your Rig Today?

I got my new plates today and put on my homemade road shower a couple of weeks ago.

Checked a few things off the list today. Oil change, rotation, washed and vacuumed, installed the new CB, ran coax, mounted the antenna, attached the farm jack and added an Anderson plug for the fridge as the cig style kept falling out. Whew!

Congrats on ditching the cig adapter. I did the same or well similar thing the first week I had my fridge. But Im just curious, why did you use a monster 50/120A plug (sorry couldn't tell which one you used)? Why not the standard 15/30/45 anderson powerpole? something like this? https://powerwerx.com/panelpole-panel-mount-powerpole-housing It could prevent the wire from being exposed possibly snagging on something/ abrading. But I'm glad you ditched the cig adapter and still looks clean man. Great job. All my friends ask why I hack off plugs on all my stuff for the anderson, this, along with compatibility with my preps is the reason why. Even the Cobra radio has a anderson attachments a few feet from the under dash box so I can easily remove it and use it around the place after a earthquake/ other disaster.

Today was fun. I needed to start the break-in process for my JK's new gears, so I drove in a big 250 mile circle and then changed the gear oil. Yikes! I'm about 290 miles into the break-in now. At 500 I get a cover-off inspection of the gears, then I am free to drive faster than 55mph again. I can't wait!

Dropped the passenger side of the front track bar as the PO upgraded the track bar but didn't use a new larger bolt so it's sloppy and no way to allign the front. Up sizing to half inch bolt, but have to wait till tomorrow to run into town for a bigger bit so I can drill it out to size and reinstall

Took her out on the mountain amd splashed a little mud on her last night for date night with my wife. Finally finished carpeting the drawer system. Now that that project is finally done, it's time to start working on the spare tire swing out to get the spare tire out of the back...

Sad day as i unpacked my rig. I had pack it up to go on a fishing trip up in the Sierra's this weekend to wake up throwing up from the flu. Been laying in bed or on the couch all day

Honestly I didn’t know that thing existed! Yes the one I have is huge and it was my first time using any anderson style plug. I also thought it was way too big but also thought it was only one size. Appreciate the link- going to replace it ASAP.

What size did you go with? I so badly want to replace my 3.21s. They do fine with my on the highway and pulling the Supra Sunsport, but when I go up to 35s, I'm sure they will be just aweful. What was your total cost on the upgrade?
