Wednesday Night Off-Road Radio D-star Net (not OB sponsored)

This net is put on by the Texas Off Road Amateur Radio Club (KF5TOR) using the W5FC D-star repeater (node A). Net begins at 8:30pm central time every Wednesday as long as they have net controls.
They would certainly like to have more check ins and I know quite a few here enjoyed the old OB net so hopefully a few can participate here too.

I am not a D-star user so I am unable to provide connection protocols though I know at least an app or two that allow connecting over the internet (i.e. DroidStar).

I am not sure if this is still active, I know they have also done an HF net on 75m.
You might consider joining their FB group for more current info.

I joined the fb group but I hardly ever use fb these days.

I have the XLX159 reflector up and running if you want a module. dashboard is XLX159.whiskey7.site This reflector will connect dstar, dmr, c4fm, allstar, hotspots, repeaters, other xlx reflectors, you name it. It also transcodes so you dont have to, haha. 73 Brent

lol is this an actual thing or just people chatting on the radio while wheeling? either way sounds kinda cool ngl. we got a group chat that goes off whenever someone's heading out but never thought about doing the radio thing. might have to look into it just to hear what's going on out there instead of scrolling through facebook all day
