I have not seen this but I think it's a pretty good idea. especially if you spend a lot of time in your vehicle traveling for work

I like the idea its a good back up to having a handheld with the weather channel option seriously thinking of getting one for my personal vehicle see how it goes.

Should be standard. I’m especially upset my 2019 Subaru Outback which is marketed by Subaru as an “offroad“ capable SUV does not have this feature yet my 2005 Mercedes-Benz SLK350 did. WTF?
Wow had no idea Mercedes had this feature.

Unfortunately, I think the way forward in new vehicles is getting the crappy Weather Channel app on factory infotainment systems.

Well there are a few people i know that actually prefer the old school way of getting that info haha the way i see it is the more options the better

My 4Runner has something similar to the above with the forecast and radar, when available via radio. Is the one you show actually a radio broadcast of the WeatherChannel or is it just the TV feed broadcast over radio? It seems it would have limited use if just the national feed.

I know some military contractors that use the noaa over everything else because they feel its the most accurate. So far hes usually dead on.

I've got weather on my CB and my GMRS radios.

I'd like to get my hands on an older radio that has air traffic, weather, AM, and FM and all that.

NOAA weather should be standard on ALL Jepp Wranglers, Subaru Cross Treks, Colorado ZR2, the new Ford Bronco and the like. Vehicles marketed as "offroad" and adventure vehicles

based on the display in @Omar Teran 's original post this is NWS/National Weather Service broadcasts over VHF and not anything to do with the "Weather Channel". These are local broadcasts due to limited range on VHF so should be relevant to you if you can hear them. Also in theory (if the radio is equipped with it) you will get a "digital" alert that may trigger the radio to automatically tune to that freq if there is an alert tone issue. Pretty nice feature if you have it.

Here's a link for more info about the stations: NWR Station Listing
