Glad you all had a great time! Spoke with @Hogman this morning and got the rundown of your trip; looks like we may repeat it over Labor Day weekend.

Was thinking of doing the similar trip so a couple can finish the WABDR. Plan would be starting Fri. 9-2 at 08:00 in Cashmere and follow the WABDR till NightHawk. Then backtrack like we did to Winthrop, camp there Sun night. Monday morning we'll hit Slate Peak/ Hart's pass, the highest road you can drive in Washington, on our way home over the North Cascades Hwy.
