I think it would be cool to create a sub-forum for videos, blogs, & articles so we can share cool overlanding resources, documentaries, and articles with each other.

Sure, but there are lots of videos that are entertaining that might not be great trip planning resources. Or we could just post stuff in the General section - either way works for me.

I'll have to agree on the video-forum - that could be cool. I usually record most of what I do when we are offroading....
