Interesting. I lived in Texas (Odessa/Midland) and now live in Utah. I loved the Guadalupe Mountains. Used to hike to Guadalupe Peak at least once a month. Now I have a hundred peaks to climb. What part of Texas are you living now??

I live in Little Elm / Frisco - just north of Dallas. No mountains to speak of. I miss Utah and being able to drive <4 hours to some of the most beautiful country anywhere...
As much as I miss Utah - I am having fun exploring Texas and the south!
