If you wanted to build your own, a good start is to look for a Military trailer. An M 100 or a M 416 is a great platform to start.

I spent some time visiting my son down in Mesa, in January. And I talked the wife into driving over to Phoenix to take a look at these. I met Dave and was really impressed by the trailers quality. He showed me how the frame is laser cut and fits together like legos. If I could afford it this is the trailer I would buy too. But I think I would prefer a rtt that just pops up, like the James Baroud. But then if you get one free as a christmas special, you can't say no to that. I'm sure your going to love it.

Most of my time this weekend got taken by the dual battery install on the 4Runner. We were able to get out and pop up the Mt. Mckinley RTT for a bit. Even in a 20 MPH wind it did great! Hope to take it on it's maiden voyage this coming weekend.
