Turn radius

Hey, I have a 1st gen tundra and the turn circle (diameter) is 47ft (which is 23.5 ft turn radius) which is really bad on the trails, and on par with other full sized rigs.

I was wondering how you folks approach trails with that in mind.
For example I wanna do Imogene or Black bear pass but those switchbacks look really tight!

Obviously for us full size guys, there are just gonna be sections we can't pass. So the main thing is being comfortable with all four corners and knowing your limit.

For everything else, have a spotter and the humility to do plenty of Austin Powers-ing to put yourself in a position to succeed.

I cheated… my econoline van has a super 60 and longer pitman arm so it turns tighter than a 4dr wrangler…. And I can put it in front wheel drive only and drag a tire… turns like a skid steer…

I’ve also looked at being able to put the trail turn assist modification on my F150. The broncos got it and the tremor trim in the F1 50s got it…
