This plate is from Rago down in the heart of Texas. For something out of a metal fab shop, I'm extremely pleased with the quality. This is by no means a little rough around the edges, this thing is nice!

looks good. $120 and requires drilling to install. it does look like it can handle RAM mounts and other accessories pretty easily....

how does it mount to the dash? if i used a mount to cantilever out with a GPS or something, does it look like it could handle the weight with some bouncing?

That remains to be seen. Theres 4 10mm bolts that run thru the dash. If anything fails, it'll be the dash. They did a great job but I think they could've used larger washers to get more surface area. I plan to try a small iPad to see how it works but either way, that ram mount will move regardless of the dash mount. For phones, GPS, cameras, it'll be solid.

Fyi, Rago does have a nice install video as well.
