Trail clean up, El Dorado National Forest

  • Guest, we will be conducting site maintenance August 4th and some downtime is expected. At this time Rally Point and the Member Map will also become an app-only feature for long-term security and stability. A few days after this maintenance, a major upgrade revision to the forum site will occur.

While shooting skeet in Mendocino NF last weekend, in addition to our own, we picked up a bunch of shells left from shooters before us. It wasn't nearly the amount shown above but it was still very rewarding to leave it better than we found it. Better yet, it was actually a fun side activity to the shooting. Its got me thinking how I can clean up more trashed shooting spots in MNF. This spot was pretty easy but others like at the end of the Gravelly Valley air strip are absolutely atrocious and I can't even believe the forestry department can leave it like that.
