Build questions. For those of you that are using the Timbren 1 Tonne (2200lb axles with 3500lb spindles), How big of a tire are you running? I'd like to run an old set of 285/75 R16 BFG muds that I have mounted on 6 on 5.5 8 inch rims. The suspension should be arriving this week along with brakes and drums/ hubs. This is how it sits now on the 285s I'll be using. She's gonna go on a diet and lose that 1 ton axle, suspension, and frame here in the next week! Right now it weighs in at 1700 but I expect to lose around 700 with ditching the old running gear and frame.

Well, I'm probably prayin that I'll lose that much. We'll see. It's a very unique service body that I found sitting in an farmers field. The license plate that was on it was tagged back in the 50s so I really can't tell you how old it is. The kids and I are very excited for this project. I'll start a build thread once I get going.
