I use to love to cruise up to timberline late at night but anymore it’s so overcrowded and they do to good of a job plowing the roads so there’s not much to play in .

That’s actually where I took this picture! And I definitely get that. There’s some forest roads that I like to hit around there though

If you head more past Estacada /Molalla area you will find a lot more unplowed untoched roads , seems like in the winter now most of the Backroads in mount hood national forest are closed off . View attachment 169133

I miss winter, but I’m not sure I miss it quite that much. Spending the night in that kinda weather would be fun to try.
