Ended up getting the xbull's.
$79 experiment, will see how they do.
I did look at gotreads and the space saving option was quite appealing,
but I want to use them sometimes as bridge option (outback is not too heavy)

I missed this one... but I've been chatting with one of the volunteers/camp hosts for Sinkyone State Parks that manages Usal, and they could definitely use some help with clean up + education. Apparently, there have been discussions about state parks shutting out or limiting public access due to a number of reasons. Keep an eye out on Rally Point for April-- likely to be a day event, with options to camp out. One of the major issues is driving + camping on the beach (I've done both like many of you), which, while not enforced, is technically prohibited and is one of the major talking points around limiting access.
