“The Big Thing” at the XOVERLAND Ranch in Three Forks Montana.

What a great event! For me it was not a show but an event worth attending. Got to see some old friends and meet some new ones. After attending lots of Overland Expos as an attendee and working a booth, the vibe here was really incredible. Clay, Rachelle & Crew did a fantastic job making everyone feel welcome.

I got to meet up with lots of Overland Bound members, swap stories and also to bring them up to speed with the upgrade to the OB 1 app.

The highlight for me was to meet in person Christoff & Venessa Eilerd aka Get.Out.Go, Christoff is our Overland Bound Ambassador for Africa. We have spent many hours meeting over video conference calls but never met in person. So glad I was able to make it work after blowing up my Gladiators engine enroute to the event.

It was also great to catch up with @epicfamilyroadtrip, who I haven’t seen since Expo East many years ago when they helped in our booth.

Got to meet Emily Miller who is the Founder and Director of the Rebelle Rally, after her class we got to talk a little about “What Three Words”, a relatively new mapping coordinate app.

Too many other people to mention but I ran out of business cards so you know it was a good one. See everyone next year!! @overlandbound @sierrafoothillsoverlanders @xoverland @xoverlandranch @get.out.go @epicfamilyroadtrip @rebellerally #thebigthing

Won’t ever know exactly, but I am fairly sure it was the valve train that started the issue. Really glad I have the warranty on it.
