@Mattias Herrera we're planning to go in the same period, but will be travelling from/to the Bay Area on Wednesday & Saturday. It'd be fun if we can join at least part of your trip, e.g. join Wednesday evening and make an early exit on Saturday morning. Would that work you think? Do you have camping spots in mind?

Yeah, we're doing the long drive on Wednesday, so not planning to do much unpaved travel to get to camp that day. Same for Friday night/Sat, when we want to camp somewhat close to pavement so the drive home isn't too long. Sounds like you already have a plan and a crew. No worries. Enjoy your trip!
How was your trip? I'm planning on doing the same route in 2 weeks. Did you have any issues with Soda Lake or the water crossings? Any other areas to watch out for?
