Im an avid motorcycle traveller, overlander, etc, but due to a recent accident I needed a 4 wheeled daily. So I picked up this 2000 Subaru Legacy Outback Limited sedan and since I cant leave any vehicle alone for long, I started setting it up the way that would suit me best. That means driving quickly around town, but also hitting forestry roads to go camping and shooting, among other hobbies!

GratefulFozzie & black86... Thank you!

The light bar is made by Heise, its their 30" dual row Blackout Series, which means the LED surround is black instead of chrome. It make it disappear on the car. Its super bright, no complaints!

I'm in the works on a new lift with SubieFish... 4" lift with Tacoma front struts converted for use in the rear of the car! Most of the lift is supplied by them, but Im acquiring a few components:
-2006 Subaru Forester front strut/spring assemblies
-OEM 4EAT transmission mount with RalliTek Hard Insert (in pic)
-Kein motor mounts
-KYB Tacoma Strut Topmounts
-Bilstein 5100 struts

Also, it will be getting skidplates and a Jeep JK styled front bumper.

This should all be happening very soon!

Thanks I’ve been thinking of adding a light bar to my forester. I have an ADF lift on mine, Thule/Subaru cargo box. Just priced tires today.

I was just reading your thread, which is one of the few Subi threads I could find and made me get around to starting one!

Very nice! I think Mike sent me a pic of your Baja on ramps next to another Baja on ramps! How many miles have you had the kit in? Im really anxious to get this done and put it to use! When I was up at their shop we talked about a few of ways to improve on these cars, so there could be some even better products coming down the pipe in the future!

I love that your Baja is parked next to a 510, one of my all time favorites!

That’s definitely interesting. I’d be very curious how the valving translates to a car.
SubieFish has put alot of consideration into that and didnt just pick Tacoma struts because of fit. They have run these in their personal rigs for quite sometime before offering to the public.
