Monarchs Meadows trip has been postponed due to snow and damage to the Monache trail. So the 9th is good for me now.

Hi All,
I am an Australian who earlier this year moved to Los Angeles(Studio City) for work. I bought an LR3(or a Discovery 3 to me) because defenders are stupidly expensive over here.
The LR3 is a 2o05 5 seat HSE with cold weather and HD(rear locker) option packs and it clicked over 100000 miles today. Only mods so far are 275/65R18 K02s but it will have a dual battery and an ARB compressor in the next few weeks. Slightly longer term mods will me a Tepui tent on a Baja rack, Engel fridge(once the current Australian models make it here), Underbody protection.
Hope to meet people and join on expeditions around this country as it's all new to me.
