Greetings from San Diego. My name is Todd. I'm a pretty avid camper, hiker, backpacker, and landscape photographer. Bought my current rig 2 years ago. 2016 Ram EcoDiesel 4x4. Not many mods other than some Bilsteins in the front to level it out, and some oversize tires. My photography often takes me off the beaten path. I'd love to get involved in some Eastern Sierras expeditions.

Another EcoDiesel overlander! Welcome and hopefully you qualify for the upcoming settlement money from FCA.
I'm pretty sure I qualify. I bought it new. Not sure how the extended warranty will work out considering Chrysler just gave me an extended warranty due to some overheating issues I was having. How do you like the truck? Aside from the overheating, It's been completely hassle free for me. Been doing a fair amount of desert, mountain and snow driving.

Same, I'm a new buyer too. Never had any real problems with it either. I have fears of EGRs and air suspension problems that I know will prevent me from "forever term" ownership. I've had it everywhere too from coastal climates, Texas hills, race car support vehicle, to Mojave desert.

I think modern diesel regulations may prevent me from going back. It's a shame because I love this thing.

My issue turned out to be the EGR. Turned out to be a simple fix, but it took four trips back to the dealership. All under warranty and Chrysler took good care of me.
