For those who may not be familiar with us, Silicon Valley Overlanders is an active regional group within the Overland Bound community, bringing together overlanders, off-road enthusiasts, and outdoor adventurers from San Jose, the South Bay, Peninsula, greater Bay Area, and beyond.
We've been part of the Overland Bound community for a while now, organizing monthly meetups, connecting with fellow members, and getting out on adventures together. We're now taking advantage of the Crew feature in the Overland Bound app to give everyone a central place to connect, communicate, and stay informed about upcoming activities.
Our goal remains the same: build friendships, share knowledge, explore new places, and bring more people together through our shared passion for overlanding.
Through our crew, we hope to make it even easier for members to stay connected, organize trail runs, plan camping trips, share ideas, and participate in our regular monthly meetups.
Whether you're a longtime Overland Bound member, a seasoned overlander with a fully built rig, or someone just starting to explore the world of overlanding, you're welcome to join us. There's no requirement to have an expensive vehicle or an elaborate setup. We all started somewhere, and there's always something we can learn from one another.
One of the best things about overlanding is the community that comes with it. The friendships, shared experiences, conversations around camp, and willingness to help each other are what make this hobby so rewarding.
