NEXT MEETING: 1900 hrs: (most members get there early to set up)
July 19

Off-topic, but…

Is anyone interested in a co-op car trailer?
Realizing after my trip to Moab that towing an off-roader on a 7-10 day trip (maybe) twice each year is really expensive to rent (for low actual-use hours) but hardly enough to justify owning one outright… and I’m past the point of wearing out friends with favors. I figure if several of us owned one together, it may get used enough to be justified and the shared cost would be very low to purchase + maintain + store.

Bueller?
Bueller?

I’ll be at the meeting tonight if anyone wants to brainstorm.

interesting idea, Ill show you tonight how to get this out to the local region.

Yes we are at the Distillery

Last nights Sierra Foothills meet-up was a lot of fun and informative. Got some dates scheduled for trips, and had a lengthy conversation about what tools everyone brings with them on the trail. It was a huge bonus to have a certified Toyota Tech at the meeting.
Next month's meeting will be some sort of BBQ, I don't have any specifics yet but I will post as soon as we get it figured out.
Some trips scheduled to this point;
  • Coyote Flats, last weekend in July Rally Point to be published late this week
  • Crawdad Boil at Richardson Lake, September 17-18
  • Cowboy Country NV, late September date TBA,
  • Usal Beach, first weekend in October,
  • October 15, Overland Bound Mojave Preserve Trail Guardian
  • November 3-7, Death Valley NP

Hopefully more trips to be planned.

July trip to Coyote Flats

I think so, when I get back Thursday I will set it up

So far we have about 30 members that have responded with an RSVP. We need a good count for food purchase

Del Albright and his wife Stacie will be at the BBQ, Del is a leader in Landuse and Access advocacy on a national level.

Remember bring your own beverage and if possible utensils and a plate.

If anyone needs anything product wise brought to the event lmk. Happy to save you on shipping.
