Sherpa Winches

I've been doing my research on a winch and had just about settled on biting the bullet on a Warn Zeon 10K, but then Sherpa winches showed up. They are an Australian based company, but is now distributing in the US.

The attractive thing that set it apart for me is that

1. Uses cut steel gears instead of sintered steel resulting in a stronger gears
2. The brake mechanism is in the gearbox instead of the drum eliminating the heat buildup on the winch line
3. Better price point that the Warn

Unfortunately I'm finding it difficult to find somewhat current reviews on the Sherpas.

Is anyone using these and what have your experiences been?

Just looking at their American site the winches look like a pretty standard off brand winch just painted yellow instead of black.
