We had a successful trail guardian cleanup event on January 22!! Turned out to be a great day with a surprise ice covered landscape at the top of the trail! Thank you to everyone who participated and made this event a huge success. Overall we had 6 rigs, 10 people, and 2 dogs that were in attendance! This was a collaborated event with RTC (RedwolfTrashCrew) & OB (OverlandBound).
Among the trash we found a full set of tires, oil filter, vinyl siding, air mattress, clothing items, propane canisters, cans, bottles, a shattered mirror and a lot more!!
We left the #chattahoocheenationalforest in much better shape, and hopefully set an example that these areas are not dump sites.
