Hey guys, excited to share our second build!
Our base is a 1999 Mitsubishi Montero 3.5L

The goal: To build a budget overland vehicle just as capable as any other rig out there. The 99 - 2000 Montero with the cold weather package comes with a center and rear locker from factory!

We already have some awesome gear ordered, excited to get this thing going.

Looking forward to seeing what you do with that Montero. How about some specs? Hp, torque? Locker? I don't know much about that generation of Montero, so I'm just curious. Thanks!

it has front and rear. Rear comes factory with "winter package"
oil pressure I believe in the middle gauge
this is the gen 2.5 only 99 and 2000 for this body style and options

Very nice, had a Montero in my former life. Was a nice vehicle. Definitley got it stuck a few times too! In other parts of the world, the Pajero.

When I read your title "Roaming Lost Rig" in my mind's eyes I saw a rig that was roaming the West without a driver, a feral overlander. It is nice to see a different build.

I love this thing. I have been following y’all on insta as well. I have been in the market for a Montero for about a year. Yours has given me further motivation to track one down and be less picky!

Talk to me about your winch and skid plate setup? Is that a one off fab piece or something you can purchase from an company?
