Hi All,
I wanted to share with you the latest (today :-)) build I did.
For those with the rear coffee (or anything else) table at the back door you probably applied some kind of light solution.
Well it took me some time but today I decided to install LED light on the back glass part of the door so when I open it up and turn on the LED it will light my kitchen area.
So this is how the back of my Jeep looks like :
So the idea was to put the LED as marked here :
Blue = where to locate the LED light (from the inside)
Yellow = the light when turned on :-)
So I took the following simple kit of LED strip :
*** I didn't use the cable to connect to the lighter plug , I connected it to one of the power lines coming from the battery
So work begins :
Putting the LED light strip (from the inside)
Now attaching the power cable to the window using 3M stickers and special cable carrier :
Sorry not the best picture but I hope you get the point.
I have used the rear cables tunnel to pass my power line so no cables will fly around in the inside of the back of my jeep
And from the inside :
From there under the cover to one of the + and - cables I had there so power is available
Now I have light when needed :-)
Thanks for reading ,
Ramon
