Welded up some quick crossbars and got her mounted to the roof rack. The family and I are hoping to make a PINS(Padre island National seashore) trip while the kids are out for this coming spring break. we figured it would be nice to get up out of the saind at night.

Wile i had the dash apart I set out to tracked down a short I’ve had for some time now in my dash lights come to find out it was 2 shorts. 1 was the swiper on the headlight switch and the other is a short in the actual cluster. So instead of going throw the hassle of trying to find a good one at the junkyard I took all the bulbs out and installed an led strip instead. which works great I couldn’t b happier the new dash lights and all the switches dim down just about the full range before cutting out. So I have complete control of them.
