Guest, UPDATE We went through the site migration runbook and completed all steps. We will need to complete the migration next week, but will leave the forums up for the weekend. A few days after maintenance, a major upgrade revision to the forum site will occur.
Just curious. Do you use a left handed drill bit? I find that with a broken bolt, 9 times out of ten the remaining bolt comes out if I use them. Saves tapping at least.

s lack Yes I have left hand threaded easy outs but in this instance they didn't work and I had to resort to drilling and tapping.

Very true at home it's an inconvenience on the road it can be much more although I do take a full tool kit on longer journeys.
