What a fun re-read! We live in a totally different part of north america now and haven't planned anything fun in a long time, life caught up to us. This may be motivation to get back in out there. I'm sure the resources are even better now, this trip is awesome and connects to other BDT routes in the state.

This was an enthralling read. It reminded me of my own rambles in the NorCal backcountry in my old T-100 pickup, right down to the anxious pit bull.
