Photos of My Travels Out West

Have you been to Belmont? Lived in Round Mountain forever ago. Tonopah was the closest McDonald's, an hour away.
Yeah I've been through there. It's a nice quiet place. Dirty Dicks Saloon was for sale when I went through the first time in 2009 or so and I wish I'd have bought it. We also had a long term project north of there in the Monitor Range abs we were able to explore a lot.

Here are a few more recent posts.

I need to keep remembering to update this thread.

This is somewhere in Southeastern Nevada. Maybe the Pahroc Wilderness.

On another trip to Death Valley this spring. A friend of mine and I did a 3 day backpacking trip up to these cabins and mines. We had to pack in 7 liters of water, as there is no source to resupply in this particular spot.

During one of my rare moments at home, I was able to get this photo of the local Bobcat family relaxing on the porch. (It's 2am right now and I think one is wandering around on my roof at this very moment.)

A sunset photo from last week:

This little bull snake or garter snake was having a hard time crossing the road at the campground in the wind and cold. I helped it across and got it into the sage.
