Photography

Well, I just got made redundant from my job so to celebrate I got up at 0400 h (4 am for civvies) to do a sunrise photo shoot down at the beach.

Rather than shooting into the sun I turned and faced west to try and capture the purple and blue colours - I think I did okay :grinning:

Now that I have a bit of time on my hands I will have to get out camping.

Taken using a Zomie 10 stop ND filter - not a bad filter for $50 AUD :grinning:

My wife and I returned to Iceland in October 2019 ... We stayed in AirBNBs the whole time because my wife doesn't do primitive camping, but we drove the Ring Road and most of the Western Ring Road, which is no small feat with gas about $2.35/liter.

This image always reminds me of Morocco. Though the two places have similar weather this time of year, this is actually in far west Texas. That's an old train station out the back. Population of this old west town is less than 900.

Love photography. I have a Nikon D90 that needs to get upgraded to something that can do 4k video. I'm also using my iPhone 11 pro which does a pretty incredible job along with 2 Gopro Hero 7s.
