For all you hardcore patch collectors, whats the best way to attach velcro to the back of a patch that doesn't have any. I've used just plain ol sticky backed velcro, and it works OK, but when its 115 here in Vegas, the glue lets up and the patch starts drooping.

I know, Important Overlanding problems here! LOL

For 3" round patches (pretty common patch size) I buy velcro backs from soccer referee supply stores. They have the super sticky 3M backing that holds up to the heat just fine (For temperature reference, I'm in Tucson, AZ). Referee Store sells them for ~$2, which is the best price i've found so far. I buy them like 10 at a time just so I always have some around. http://www.refereestore.com/badge-velcro/. For square patches I cut the circles down the middle and turn each half 180 degrees, like so:

For odd shaped patches I use 2" velcro strap cut to fit and I then glue it on with either generic PVA glue or Feibing's Lethercraft Cement. I let the glue dry under weight
