Ozark trip planning

  • Guest, we will be conducting site maintenance this week and some downtime is expected. At this time Rally Point and the Member Map will also become an app-only feature for long-term security and stability. A few days after this maintenance, a major upgrade revision to the forum site will occur.

This weekend I plan to make a run up to Arkansas. This will be our first overlanding trip. We'd like to camp at the White Rock Mountain campground. However, if the weather gets worse (colder or wetter) we'll probably go 'camp' in Van Buren at a hotel or return to Bella Vista.
In general all trails between 71 and 23 are fair game. I've been exploring using Gaia, IVM and MVUMs and have the following course planning:
Start from DT Bentonville (Onyx Coffee) and head down 71.
Exit on to Winfrey Valley Cutoff
Turn Noth on to 1705 Kenny (did somebody kill him?)
do the down and back on 95536N to Frog Bayou
Continue on 1705 to 95522A (East)
95522A back to 1705
Follow 1705 to FS-124
East on FS-124 to Bidville
South on Bidville to 1773 (Watkins)
South on 1773 to 1505-2 (White Rock Mtn Rd)
South on 1505-2 to Campground

Extra trails:
1776 (Deer Trap) to 1003
1003 to 95548B, 95530A back to 1003

My big concern is water crossings. I've already been told that Frog Bayou is low. Don't know about Hurricane Creek yet. I have no desire to be a U-Boat captain so the smallest indication that a water crossing is too deep will have me back tracking.

There are tons of open trails in the area, but are there any you guys would recommend?

How'd the trip work out? Plan on getting down around WhiteRock since its so close (Rogers Ar). Missed out on this leg of the trip when our group went out to the ONF.

I just read this and had a Fed Ex flashback LOL.
Some of those people out there off Bidville Rd ordered shit thru FedEx just so they could see my angered red face pull up.
