I'm wanting to get more into overlanding and I'm looking for suggestions on places to go near me. So far I've seen a few places in Big Sur and heard of some places in Mendocino. Any suggestions for where I should start?

I’m on the central coast too, Even though there’s some trails in big sur, The better overlanding is in the Sierra. I did Jawbone canyon to Lake isabella and had a good time.
Btw, Mendocino is nowhere near the central coast, but if youre up there, look up Usal Rd.

The Sierra is definitively a place I need to look into more. Jawbone canyon to Lake isabella does look like it would be a good time, and ya I think I was a bit confused on where Mendocino is when I made this post because it is far too north to be central coast haha.
