Overlanding and Outdoor Cartoons....out of my mind.

My Aunt had a whole room dedicated to Ham radios growing up in the 1960s, chatting with people all over the world. So cool as a kid.

But she would not let me climb her giant antenna...LOL

Only posting the more outdoor stuff here, thought the radios would be OK.

Radios are always welcome... they go hand in hand with Overlanding... wish more people understood that radio sport and Overlanding go hand in hand..

You just needed to offer to paint it:

That is myself and Varmint #2 painting a 40' ham tower for a friend. Varmint #2 was about 10 years old at time.

Those are awesome.....

Could make it a book in honor of Gary Larsen and call it, "The Far Side of Overlanding"
