Hello Folks,
My wife and I have had RVs for years, and one of us is quite excited to get out of the campground and into the places where we can see starts, smell the forest, and enjoy some peace and quite. My wife is not terribly opposed, but she does have some basic hygiene, and bug concerns. I would like her to grow to enjoy the wilderness as I was raised doing the same. My mind is filled with romantic visions of sleeping under the stars with no one around for miles. I want to be realistic. What I am thinking is first a day drive, perhaps a camp lunch, a little hike and head back home. We have a 2020 RAM Power Wagon with a camper shell. It would be great if we could find some folks in the DFW area for meet ups, coffees, etc. Any help or support would be appreciated.
Be safe you guys!
Thanks
Tom

Tom, from personal experience, allways have a portable toilet (folding style w/ bags, or a port-a-potty if you have the space) and a pop up shower/changing room tent along, even on day trips. Just having the ability to quickly create a clean and private bathroom space goes along way with folks who are new to the great outdoors. Last thing you want to do is scare someone off with some delapated outhouse, or just wide open country side as a restroom. A few creature comforts go along way to making sure the experiance is a good one.
