I would definitely check out Zion National Park, and/or Bryce Canyon, both are amazingly beautiful.

Another gorgeous place is Monument Valley, absolutely breathtaking views.

Thanks! We are going to hit Monument Valley for sure. I will look into Zoin and Bryce Canyon.

Preplanning an epic 2 week overland adventure. What would be some must see's along the way?
Sedona is just a tad south of Flagstaff.
Take the time to drive either UP or Down Schnebly Hill Road on that trip. There are other trails around Sedona if you have the time.
Just north of Peach Springs, AZ is Diamond Creek Road... it will take you to the Bottom of the Grand Canyon in about an hour. It's on an Indian Reservation, so they charge to go on it, but it's way worth it to see the bottom. You can even camp at the bottom if you want.
I only know this because I took a trip out there a year and a half ago.
