I also volunteered in early June since I have recently retired and have the time. Has anyone heard back from the event about their volunteer status? Nothing urgent here but I do need to start nailing down plans, etc.

We are heading up that way and plan to attend and camp on site. Have our tickets already. Leaving from SF area in California and will meander our way over. No solid route yet, but we are thinking it's a good time to explore Colorado a bit. Looking forward to getting out there.

Ill be heading out from SLC on the 25th or 26th incase anyone wants to caravan over to Loveland. Still trying to decide if i just want to just book it across I 80 or hit the scenic route along Hwy 40 but wouldnt mind linking up with anyone in route.
 
Most likely one of my dogs will be joining me at expo west. I live closeby so I won't be camping, that said who is interested in a trail run on Friday sat or Sunday? If so how far out from the expo are you willing to travel for trail runs/meetups?
 
Message me, I too will be closeby (at my son's house) and may be interested in something on Friday. I'll be in Westminster.

There are 2 of us from Nebraska that are coming out for the Expo on Thursday. Gonna camp near Pikes Peak and stay in the mountains until Saturday. Have day passes for Saturday. Could be interested in doing some trails Friday

For the rest, im departing Reno/Tahoe on the 23rd or 24th to take it slow to the event. Then post event we've got a small group headed into the mountains for some camping and exploring some new spots.

There hasnt been anything planned officially , i know alot of the local guys are going to be at Overland Expo on Saturday so we could coordinate meeting up there, I'll also be at expo on Friday to hit up a few vendors early. Would y'all like to do a meet up somewhere at Expo or maybe at a local bar or something? we could even go for an OB Rigs and Coffee style thing

I like this idea, Sunday morning rigs and coffee somewhere? Dark Heart Coffee Bar looks good

I'm waiting for the official posting, but there's a Saturday morning coffee meet planned at the Zargus booth (9AM) with OB founders. Also, a potential informal meet at camp Friday evening.

Good stuff, will wait to see what shakes out then. You camping Neal? I was planning on it, but got a camp permit with my instructor ticket, so I may come through if time allows
