The return home from Off the Grid 2016 took myself and Neil (@B Wild) north on the California's coast along Hwy 1. On this route we encountered a group of overlanders unlike most, if not all. A group of Veterans, two of which were amputees overlanding in 4-wheel drive wheel chairs, traveling the country to bring awareness to the serious matter of Veteran Suicides. With support, they intended to raise funds to assist with rehabilitative initiatives and their hotline which was 100% staffed by veterans, for veterans (844-OHD-VETS). For their service, in the true spirit of comaraderie and the shared values with Overland Bound, I handed the CEO an OB Challenge Coin.

These guys are incredible, their chairs are averaging 10mph and they are traveling from Canada to Mexico. They are proof that it doesn't matter what you drive. To be an overlander, just Outfit & Explore.
