Bought a 1979 Jeep J20 and decided to rig it up for some remote exploring. Built a bed rack to hold a RTT, rotopaxs, recovery gear and a Trasharoo. Also picked up some rims and 37" rubber. Just waiting for the new 2.5" Springs to arrive so I can clearance the fenders better to suit. Currently installing OBA and a 10 gal tank. My 2 boys love the old rigs so we decided to leave the body as is and most important is the comfort of the old bench seats.

Should have most of the accessories mounting brackets installed on Monday and will update with pics...
 
I keep coming back to this thread, love the J series!

Just because, here's a pic of one I found a couple of summers ago while hiking. The guy wasn't home, so I left a note on his door asking about selling it, but I never heard back. As of November, it was still there. I plan on staking out his place this summer, with a trailer and a wad of cash!

Dang, that's awesome. I love it!

I also notice you have two more epic off road machines - you've got your own convoy! :thumbsup:
