Resolved OB1 App Slow Startup and Stability Issues iOS

The app will take a long time to start and will display only the initial splash screen for an extended time which can make it appear to be frozen. After startup there also appears to be more stability issues where the app will randomly terminate. This is appearing on iOS and maybe related to the recent iOS 26 update as these issues have started to occur during the same timeframe as that new release.
 
I wasn't going to say anything but since that can O' worms is open.
My experience deals only with IOS devices (IOS version 18.7.1) App launches, stalls on boot. The blue location arrow shows up (upper left screen) then disappears. Then after what my digital patience deems an eternity. (10-20 secs) the blue arrow reappears and the app launches to my location. I can live with that...

Now the odd part: This is very consistent and happens every time I open the app. This process happens with all processes. messages, forums, etc.

Once app is open, I click on messages. I click on the message response. I click on the link in the message and it momentarily goes to the post. Within secs, it changes to the map page and I am in BFE Europe. See pic. But the grid coordinates in the upper right is my location.

Once the initial load issues happen, app responds accordingly.

I will patiently wait for the App developers to work out the kinks...

Thanks guys. Yeah, I just experienced this myself. I will put this on the list. We are doing more regular updates now so it shouldn’t be too long to get the slow start up resolved.
