I will be traveling NS in a few weeks, and would like to camp on the beach at Meat Cove.

I have seen other videos where people have, but it was also off season for the campground.

Other than the possible crowds, is this possible and or appropriate during the ”on” season as I’m not sure if it is under ownership or control of the campground?

I’m ok supporting the campground owners, but curious if this is a possible second option.

The answer is: Yes camping is allowed on the beach separate from the campground as it is “government property”.
