Northern California (East Bay) Meet up.

I'm thinking of scheduling a meet-up at Black Diamond Brewery in Concord CA for late July. Anyone interested? If we get enough interest, I'll try for a tour!

OK! Sounds like we definitely have enough interest. At the recommendation of cam_toyota_tech, I've contacted Epidemic Brewery (right down the street from Black Diamond Brewery) and we've scheduled a meet-up for Saturday August 5th at 12 pm. After looking into it, Cam is correct, they are far better prepared to handle an event like this. They will be reserving an area inside for us and will have a food truck on site that day. I have also set up a tour of their operation for those interested. I've scheduled it a little further out so people have time to plan. Feel free to invite your other clubs. In true Overland style, everyone is welcome! The location is: 150 Mason Cir Unit J Concord, CA. I'm also going to see if we can get Michael & Corrie to attend. Hope to see you there!

Great event today. We had an awesome turnout and had a chance to meet some of the best people around. Great group, awesome beer and fine dining! In addition to us locals, we had people from as far away as Sonoma County, San Jose and Tracy! Thanks to all that attended for making this a great event. Let's keep this going! I encourage others in different areas to plan events! Most of you had the chance to sign in and I'll be getting that list out to you soon. We had a lot of talk about a Hollister trip. That would be a good first event for us, as it's got something for everyone. More on that in the near future! Thanks again and I hope everyone enjoyed themselves!

Anyone up for Hollister the weekend of 8/26-8/27? I've never been there, so it would be better for someone that knows the site to lead it up. We can either make it a day trip or weekend camp out. I'm good either way? Just throwing it out for Ideas.
