US West North Bay Trip - Sonoma, Marin, Napa, Lake

I want to get a sense of who's going/still wants to go. We've had quite a bit of rain the last couple of days and there is a possibility of more this weekend. This could also mean some snow in sections. The first night camping should be below any snow.

Last one of the year is in the books! And what an adventure it was. I think we cleared about 15-20 fallen trees on the way to the camps, and then about 4-5 more in the last 1/4 mile getting back out on the same road. The rain and snow were both challenging and fun.

After a night of heavy rain, we made our way NE. Rainbows guiding the way. Several miles later, we finally met our match with about 50+ yards of fallen trees blocking the road. So we went back to a camp we had passed. Thanks to Frank for mulled spiced wine, while we took shelter under a canopy from rain, sleet, and snow. Woke up the next morning with a dusting of snow.

Then it was time to head home. The gpx file was ambitious and we got about 1/3 of the way before the fallen tree zone. But heading back was not without more adventure. We crossed the creeks again, and when we were close to the road much larger trees had fallen needing a tow strap to pull them out of the way. As we were clearing the last set of trees, it started snowing heavily. But we all made it out to adventure again in the new year. Thanks to @Ken M @OBB @wanderingfoodie_95 @Wandering_Scotty for coming out.

Wow guys bravo! Truly impressive. Sitting home with my family all weekend experiencing the weather down in Napa, I did think about how you all were doing up in the woods. Glad it all went well. Hope to meet up soon.
