hey all, im looking at getting an ARB or similar locker for the rear axle of my 94 Toy pickup4wd. have read the horror stories of crappy installs gone bad, so does anyone in the north bay area have a trusted mechanic they would refer?
Thanks!

So, I have not used them personally but people over on Mud recommend Mudrak up in Sonoma; i got a recommendation for them for my 100 series land cruiser but never looked into them further because of the distance (im in south san jose). Good Luck

It's really not hard to do yourself. Imagine the horror stories you'll have if you get someone to do it for you and you have an issue on the trail and you don't know what to do because you didn't install it yourself

Nope, installing this is above my skill set, i'm smart enough to let a skilled pro do the install. But your point is well taken.

2nd vote for mudraks in Sonoma. Gary’s awesome and prices are cheaper when I compared to an off road shop in Oakland
