Ric, don't know about taking anyone under my wing, as I'm brand new as well and pretty much a novice with anything more than snowy trail rides! But I'm from Concord. Have you heard about the meet up at Buffalo Wild Wings on Diamond Blvd that's coming up? Good chance to meet the locals.
