Made a Washington Cascades run to satisfy other family members on “real” mountains, and snuck in some back road routing between them just for me. Mountains seen are Rainier, St. Helens ( the side that blew out from above Spirit Lake), and Adams (across a busy Takhlahk Lake - beautiful day to paddle), then dusk at Lost Lake (camp) near Rimrock Lake.5FD5FA2E-20EC-4E83-9609-30E06C8C0C24.jpeg C07F3EB7-6BE1-4B7D-A5BA-9A446FC51C38.jpegB7BD062E-A2AC-4DC7-8ECF-9DA91FF0D63C.jpeg8916B36E-EAFC-4517-B51C-03D1B58555D6.jpeg

Kismet (my dog) and I went for our morning walk. We turned the corner at the campground we were staying at and came face to face with a black bear. Kismet started barking and the ran off before I could get a pic but Game warden came and put this out. KIMG0784.JPG
