Nice shots there!

I did an overnighter on the Deschutes to see if the Stoneflies were popping yet. Caught a few fish, but spent more time looking at the birds...

I'm not dead yet, guys.

She had her eye on me from the second I got out of the boat...

This "mama to be" hunkered down on the nest and waited for us to drift on down the river. Pretty safe amongst the poison oak shoots popping up.

Conondale National Park, What a great trip. A must do. Heaps to look at. next time I coming back with a tent to camp by the river, (only tents allowed). we had camper and stayed in camp grounds. which were clean and nice. would be nice camping in the summer by the blue creek.18280080_1542382402493420_1368374089_n.jpg 18336602_1542382135826780_452351046_n.jpg 18308832_1542381965826797_1884878266_n.jpg 18309104_1542356435829350_234554760_n.jpg

Sequoia National Park about two years ago. I photographed roughly 36 bears that year (most of which were there), but this was probably the highlight as this mother had three cubs with her. The most I've seen with a mother before that was 2. All of them made it too as I saw them last year.

They are staring at a family of deer believe it or not, which then for whatever reason terrified the babies and sent them running up a tree.17119255219_62989d36ed_b.jpeg
