Its a Douglas Super DC-3 far as I know. US Navy craft crashed back in the early 70s. You used to be able to drive out but recent hooligans have put a stop to that and you now have to walk out a few km onto the beach to get to it! Iceland has so much more to offer than this place crash though, I did a full post on everything I saw on my blog give it a look and lemme know what you think man!

Some from Iceland some from when I lived in Okinawa, some from when I lived in Cyprus this summer, and some from travels elsewhere! That last one is Sunrise from the first time I climbed Fuji! If anyone has any questions about Japan or climbing Fuji I lived there for 3 years and can't recommend a trip out to see the country more the land is gorgeous and the people make it something special.
