Hello,
I am new to overlandng but, not to off roading. I live in So Cal, San Diego area and I am 52 years old.
I am currently building a 2000 Grand Cherokee limited 4.7 4X4. I have a 4 1/2" Lift, blistins 5100 shocks with EAG steel front and rear bumpers. I am currently running 32" tires but plan to up size to 33" as soon as they wear out. I have a dual ARB compressor with an ARB front locker, rear locker coming soon, hard shell rooftop tent, awning and a full size spare tire on the rear bumper. I look forward to seeing all the different rigs and hopefully, getting out to some of the events.

DC area serious overland/off-road newbie building an OEM+ LX570 presently (stock looking on outside with most of the goodies only visible when you get in the cabin-full Goose Gear drawer system with TrekBoxx Line-X tailgate cover, tint, weather tech mats, Toyo Open Country E Rated tires Maxtrax MK11 boards, and HID matched fogs all already purchased/installed since took delivery Summer and the following forthcoming once supply chain catches up and already on order-ARB recovery points, ARB dual compressor under the hood, Slee sliders with puddle lights, and Maxtrax MKII mounting pins with a sensor lift/techstream mod to round things off to maintain AHC function not including AV mods to include smartphone mirroring and Escort dash cam/radar combo set to be installed this upcoming week). No stranger to the outdoors as have thoroughly enjoyed hiking, whitewater rafting, mountain biking, and the likes for years with this being my first overland/off-road build although am no stranger to the world of modified automobiles (presently have a 850 WHP Weistec E63s TT sedan also in the stable and previously owned a X5M Dinan S3 amongst others). Looking forward to contributing and possibly doing some light-moderate off-roading/overlanding with my fellow members. Look forward to learning from you all.

Holler! Just joining the awesome OL crew. Located in the Northern Virginia area... Rollin' in my 2018 Toyota Tacoma. I'd say I am somewhat of a newbie in the skillset but very advanced in mind :-D
Most if not all of my offroading has been beach access. I am looking to expand into more mountainesque areas to further reach landscape and wildlife photography.
I travel w/ my partner- Kayak... black lab companion

Hi everyone, I’m Wilt from Gresham, OR. I would call myself an “experienced novice”. My 2 rigs are a 2009 Toyota Tacoma, and a 1999 Mazda Miata. I’ve used the Miata to car camp on long road trips that also include some hiking and remote camp sites, so I’ve taken her into some places she had no business being in. But just like any trip, careful and deliberate driving can get you in, and back out.

Hey everyone! I’m Finn! I’m a native Southern Californian; currently posted in San Diego. I have a ‘19 Subie Xtrek that’s named Meeko. I’ve been camping since before I could walk, but I’m still a novice at overlanding. At the moment, Meeko is still a “ballin on a budget” rig so improvements have been slow, but I finally threw a lift on him and got some 15s for the ATs I’m gonna grab come Black Friday. This is my 2015 Toyota Tacoma named Blanca. She started life as a TRD Off Road.
If I had to compare my overlanding experience to a t-shirt size, I'd say that my overlanding experience is a "smedium." We've put 12,000 mile on this rig over the last year and she isn't a daily driver. The skid plates, sliders, and wheels show that we've had some serious fun in that time far beyond our local fire roads.

Hi I’m Frank Thompson I will start off by saying that I am extremely green when it comes to this kind of thing but am always ready to learn and participate in any way I can I drive a 2012 Jeep Jk two door, lifted with 33s about to go to 35s mostly stock just put in quick disconnect sway bar links and I’ve got it set up with basic safety equipment thank you very much for allowing me to be apart of your community

Thanks, and yes, they are a good heavy bumper! My stock one had both corners bent from people backing into me in parking lots. Not anymore!
