Yes, but it has changed owners several times. It's been a few years, too many touristsIs the Jimtown Frosty still there in Jamestown?

If that meet-up is planned to coincide with Austin's Spring Break, I might be able to join you as I roll through on the way to New Mexico, COVID permitting. I'll try to follow and stay posted. Welcome aboard, Paige! It was great running into you and the others at PINS! I look forward to seeing where your adventure takes you. This is a great group here.THANKS FOR THE ADD! Paige here. I used to overland before it was called that, maybe, and I'm so excited to start a new chapter in life where I get to make my life outdoors centeric FIRST. And I'm determined to bring my kiddo into the way of life as a way of being.
For now I've got a 2008 Taco that I'm about to start building. I spent several years thinking Subarus were enough for me. They're still awesome, but I'm never looking back after switching to a 4x4 and feeling that thrill. So...we're gearing up for a long road ahead and long life together!!
She's pretty base right now. Wait 6 months...things are about to change!

@JPM78130 - WHAT'S UP!! I'd love to stay in touch with y'all's whole crew! What a serendipitous turn of events...also getting to spend a few minutes hearing what @Hourless Life life has planned...y'all were an awesome, unexpected delight. I expect more of those kinds of encounters the more overlanding I do. I have been missing this kind of community.Welcome aboard, Paige! It was great running into you and the others at PINS! Welcome Brian!I guess I start here:
Just the basics - just took delivery of a 2021 Chevy Colorado ZR2 Bison. We're very excited! Previously had a 2018 Chevy Colorado Z71 that we were building for overlanding but decided to go whole-hog and get a Bison. We used to be heavily into exploring with a 2007 FJ Cruiser but life got in the way for a few years. Excited to get back into it!

Hello , Welcome to Overland Bound.I joined about year ago and am finally getting around to a proper introduction! We are traveling with a 2020 GMC Savana van that has a Quigley 4x4 and lift installed along with independent suspension. We are pulling a Bruder EXP-6 with it that arrived here in the U.S. at the end of September. We hopped in and took off the following week for 9 weeks of backroads across 18 states and 9000 miles! We are totally new to overlanding but had a great time. Next trip will begin at the end of February. Looking forward to meeting many of you along the way!View attachment 184910View attachment 184916View attachment 184917View attachment 184918
Welcome from Twin Falls, ID. I am right in the middle of putting my FJ40 back together, hopefully it wont take me too long.Looking forward to joining the group, I own an FJ40 here in Idaho
Are you taking the highways between destinations or are you trying to find dirt roads and "long ways" between?Hello Overlanders,
My fiance and I are from NYC and over the summer we converted our 2007 Toyota 4Runner into an overlanding rig. We are now venturing throughout the states for the next 8 months visiting National Parks and other beautiful locations. We are very novice as coming from the city we did not have many opportunities to go camping but we are travelers and adventures at heart. We are glad to join this community to learn from other overlanders!

I’m looking at the bison ZR2 diesel and I’m going to pull the plug this year. Trans went out in the 17 F350 dually so that ate up a few dollhairs.I guess I start here:

Had the diesel in our Z71, went with the gas engine on the ZR2. Nothing wrong with the baby Duramax, it just doesn't like cold weather (as in -20 to -30 F) with no garage and no ability to plug in a block heater!I’m looking at the bison ZR2 diesel and I’m going to pull the plug this year. I camped up your way not long ago in Torrey state park. Love the north fl area. Were from the tampa area.Hey all. I’m Burton. New to over landing. No trails to speak of in my area of north Florida so I’ll need to do some traveling to get to anything.
2004 Ford F-150 that I have owned since it was new.
I’m excited about the fun to be had.

Welcome fellow Angeleno... and mixing engineer! What are the odds right? I hope things are going well in your corner of the industry.Hello , Everyone!
I'm Eli, Los Angeles, CA.
I drive a 2017 Jeep Grand Cherokee, Limited. I've been tearing up the back country in SoCal on short trips, but recently fortunate enough to cut down my hours in an office. My goal of joining is to connect with people for insight on more extended Overlanding trips and gear, and to meet up with some rad folks!
