Hey folks!

New member checking in from the Triangle area in NC! OB#15477
Previous rig was a 2013 Honda fit (plenty of car camping trips with this one)
Current rig: 2013 Nissan Xterra S 4wd AKA "The Silver Bullet"
I have a fair bit of experience backpacking, and car camping. Definitely looking forward to getting on some trails this year and learning what my X is capable of.

Hi everyone!
Name's Nate, I'm from the Denver, Colorado area. Have driven most of the interstates of the country. So I guess I have a lot of overlanding experience? But an intermediate to the world of off-road overlanding.
Current rig is my 2015 Toyota Tacoma TRD Off-Road. I've been slowly modifying it with sliders and bed-rack and other modifications.
I've been looking at this group for some time and am glad to have joined now.
See you on the trail!
Welcome Nate Glad to have you part of the community looking forward to hearing of your adventures.

Freelance off-road/overlanding for years with my old Jeep, but now actually getting ready to build out my 2018 4Runner TRD Offroad. Looking for ideas and inspiration.
OH Noooooo ... Another Steelers fan? Just kidding Brother Welcome to Overland Bound!!! Look forward to seeing your postings.

View attachment 83660 View attachment 83661 View attachment 83649 Hey Everyone! I just joined a few days ago, but I've been an avid offroader, camper all my life. I've been busy being a dad for the last 17 years and now that I'm in my 40's, my kids need less of my money, and have a little more cash in my pocket, I've decided to dive back into offroad. Low and behold what used to do (driving into the middle of nowhere and camping) is now a thing called overland, with all sorts of fancy accessories and cool stuff I want on my rigs. I am eager to outfit two of my three rigs for some adventure. I have a 2016 F150 4x4 with factory locker in the rear that's my daily driver. I'm about to install a mild BDS lift and 35" tires and am trying to figure out how far I want to go with it since it is my primary. I know I'll be adding offroad bumpers, cargo drawers and a bed rack eventually.

I plan to make my OJ era "Beater Bronco" my primary "overlanding" rig. I'm rebuilding my diffs with 488 gears and LSD front and rear, doing a 4" lift and 35" tires. I already installed an offroad rear bumper (to replace the stock bumper I destroyed offroad!) and am adding a spare tire carrier and storage drawers in the back. I have an NP205 transfer case I plan to upgrade/rebuild and eventually pair it up with an NP203 with a doubler and triple stick kit. Anyway, as you can see: I really enjoy trail rides and offroad, I also enjoy camping and hiking and hope to get an RTT on the Bronco and other gear eventually. I've never outfitted a vehicle for overland and am hoping to learn a bunch here and make some friends in the Reno/NorCal area to do some adventuring.

I also have a 1968 Toyota FJ40 Land Cruiser I'm in the middle of restoring (mod). It is sucking up a lot of resources, but I'll be diverting some funds the Bronco's way latter this winter and spring.

Thanks for having me!
Welcome to Overland Bound Sir!!

Hello everyone! My name is Dave, I own a Jeep cherokee and am from Livermore, Ca. I’ve had my Jeep for quite some time and have gotten bitten by the overland bug. I know nothing right now, but hoping to figure things out as I go.
I'm gonna take a stab in the dark here ... Is it Dave? Welcome to Overland Bound Brother!

Thanks!
Yeah I love the outdoors here in Oregon, though it's not the best place to live - I feel like moving to Utah, Montana, or Idaho. Or maybe just to eastern Oregon.
We have great stuff here, high desert, waterfalls, mountains, lakes and rivers, even sand dunes - I just wish the politics of portland and eugene weren't making this such a terrible place to work and stuff
Hello ... Welcome to Overland Bound!!
